Makarpura Gidc is a massive place, and we are right in the middle of it at A-1-852-1. Vadodara has a long history with industry, and being part of this estate feels right. At Vishal Corrugators, we deal with a lot of paper and heavy machinery. Corrugation is a messy business sometimes. There’s the smell of the adhesive and the sound of the rollers constantly turning. We have these large rolls of paper that come in on trucks, and seeing them turned into finished boxes never really gets old. The floor is always busy. We have a team that’s been doing this for years, so they know the machines better than anyone. We don't have a fancy lobby or a bunch of awards on the wall. The walls are mostly covered in production schedules and safety signs. It’s a practical environment. We have a small room where we take breaks and drink way too much coffee. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend a Sunday fixing them, but that’s part of the deal. We take pride in the fact that our boxes end up all over the country, even if nobody knows they came from this specific shed in Vadodara. It’s hard work, but it’s good work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don't complain much because the work is there and we are grateful.
