Vijaylaxmi Automation

You’ll find Vijaylaxmi Automation over at Plot No. 904/8 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s not the biggest shop on the block, but it serves us well for what we do. We work on automation parts and small assemblies here. It’s a bit more precise than some of the heavy forging shops nearby, so we try to keep the dust down as much as we can, though it’s hard in this area. We have a few workbenches set up with soldering irons and testing kits. It’s mostly quiet work, except for the sound of the small tools. We’ve been in this plot for several years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the time on the actual work. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their job. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most people know us just by being in the estate for so long. Sometimes we grab a cold soda from the shop down the road when the afternoon heat gets too much. It’s a simple setup. We just make sure the circuits and the parts are put together correctly before they go out. That’s how we’ve always done it at Plot 904/8. There’s a persistent smell of solder in the air, and one of the overhead lights flickers if you don’t tap the switch just right. We bring our lunches from home and eat together at the big wooden table in the back. It’s just regular people doing regular work.
