Vijay Flexible Containers Pvt. Ltd. has been over at Plot No. 871-b1-1 for a long time now. It’s right in the middle of the Gidc Ind. Estate, so there’s always trucks coming and going. The building itself is older, but it works for what we do. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We’ve got a group of people here who know the machines inside and out. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just concrete floors and the sound of heavy equipment running most of the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a bit dusty around here because of the roads, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. My father started things years ago and then we just kept it going. We don’t really do much advertising. People usually find us because they know someone else who works here or they’ve seen our sign while driving through the Gidc. It gets pretty loud during the afternoon shifts. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for ten or fifteen years. They know exactly how to handle the materials we use. We just try to get the work done and get home to our families. It’s a steady life and the location at Plot 871-b1-1 is convenient for the deliveries and the workers.
