Working out of Plot No. 253 in the Gidc Ind. Estate means we are constantly surrounded by other factories. It is a dusty place most of the time but that is just how these industrial areas tend to be. We deal with plastics and various chemicals every single day. There is always a faint smell of resin in the air when you first walk into the building. Most of our crew has been working here for years, so we all know the daily routine by heart. We do not have a marketing team or anything formal like that. It is just us and the machines doing the work. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon getting it back online. It is just a normal part of the job. We keep a lot of our raw stock in the back corner, though it looks a bit messy to an outsider. To us, everything has its own place. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the estate. We just want to get the orders out the door on time. The office is just a small side room with a couple of old computers and some filing cabinets that do not close quite right. We usually eat our lunch together near the loading dock when the weather is nice enough. Vijay Chemicals Plastics is basically a group of people who know their way around a mold. It is a simple life for us here.
