Varsha Plast is tucked away at Plot No. 825 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s just a standard industrial plot, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve got our machinery set up in the main shed and that’s where we spend most of our hours. Working with plastics means there is always a certain smell in the air and the machines produce a lot of heat. We’ve got big exhaust fans, but on a hot day, it still feels pretty heavy in there. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. Usually, it’s just a few of us making sure the molds are right and the plastic is melting correctly. We deal with a lot of scrap and raw pellets, so the floor stays pretty messy until we do a big cleanup on Saturday afternoons. Our neighbors in the estate are mostly doing similar work, so we all know each other. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help someone out with a heavy load. It’s a practical life. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just make the parts, pack them into bags, and wait for the truck to pick them up. It’s been our life for years now. We started small and we’ve stayed about the same size, which suits us just fine. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to stay late, but we don't complain much about it. It’s just how things go.
