Utsav Electro Mech Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 202-1 in the Gidc Industrial Estate. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on mechanical and electrical tasks. When you walk in, you’ll see a lot of workbenches covered in tools and various parts that we are working on. We don’t have a lot of space for anything other than the work itself. There is an old desk in the corner where we keep our technical manuals and the phone. Most of the guys here are better with a wrench or a soldering iron than they are with a computer. We don't spend much time on the internet or worrying about marketing. We just do the repairs or the assembly jobs that come our way. The building is a bit older and shows its age, but it’s sturdy and gives us what we need. It gets pretty loud during the day with the sound of grinding and drilling. We usually take our lunch breaks together and talk about the jobs we’re doing. Gidc is a big place and we are just one of many small units trying to stay busy. We don’t make any big claims about what we do. We just fix what’s broken and build what’s ordered. It’s honest, hardworking stuff and that’s plenty for us. We’ve been here a long time and we know our way around the estate pretty well.
