We are based at 299-a in the Gidc Estate in Makarpura. Vadodara has a lot of these industrial areas, and we’ve been tucked away in this one for quite a while. Our unit is just a standard space where we keep our tools and the things we manufacture. We aren't a big company with many layers of management. It is just a few of us making sure the work gets done every day. We handle a variety of metal and machine work, depending on what the local factories need. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we try to sweep up every evening before we head home. It is a practical environment. We don’t have a shiny showroom or a sales team. Most people find us because they’ve worked with us before or someone told them we were reliable. The tea here is okay, but the kettle is old and takes forever. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we help each other out when a machine breaks down or someone needs an extra hand. It’s a tight-knit spot in the estate. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just work with our hands and try to keep the business going. It’s been our life for a long time, and we like the routine of it. It’s simple work but it keeps us going.
