Our shop is at Plot 386 in the GIDC Estate. It’s not the biggest place on the block, but we make it work for everything we do with energy systems. Most of our day is spent looking at wires, panels, and different components that come through the door. It’s technical work, though it doesn’t look like much from the outside. The building itself is just a standard industrial shed like every other one in this part of GIDC. Inside, there are workbenches scattered around and tools everywhere. We try to keep it tidy, but when a big project is mid-way through, the floor gets covered in offcuts and spare parts pretty quickly. The tea stall down the road is where we usually end up for breaks because it gets stuffy inside during the afternoons. There is always some noise from the neighbors, usually some grinding or welding sound drifting over the walls. We have been in this spot for a while now and the locals know us. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything fancy; we just focus on the task in front of us. If someone needs something fixed or built, they usually just walk in and ask. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way.
