You can find us in the Gidc Industrial Estate at Plot No. 876-2. Our whole day is pretty much centered around making seals. We use different kinds of rubber and materials, and the workshop always has that specific smell of burnt rubber and oil. It’s an industrial area, so there’s a lot of noise from the other units and trucks passing by on the main road. Our machines have been here for a long time and they require a bit of muscle to operate sometimes. We don’t have a fancy front or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably with a bit of grease on our hands. We spend a lot of time checking the finished parts to make sure they don't have any rough edges. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve gotten good at it over the years. We know the other folks in the estate and we usually share a tea or a quick chat in the afternoon. There isn't much to the office, just some old shelves and a table for the paperwork. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure we get the seals right and that the orders are ready when they need to be. It’s a simple, steady operation and we just take it one day at a time here without much fuss.
