Thakkar Electrical Service

We operate out of Plot No. 8 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It's a simple shop where we handle electrical repairs and bits of wiring work. Thakkar Electrical Service has been around for some time now. We see a lot of motors and old switches come through these doors. Some are easy to fix, others take all day and a lot of patience. The workbench is usually a mess of wires and testers, but we know where everything is. It’s not a quiet place, especially when we’re testing a motor or using the drill. We get customers from the nearby factories mostly. They need things back fast so their machines don't sit idle for too long. We understand that pressure. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep our energy up. It’s a small team, maybe just a couple of us most days. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a marketing plan. Most people just know where we are or heard about us from someone else in the estate. The power goes out occasionally, which is funny considering what we do for a living. We just fix it and keep going. It's basic work but someone has to do it right. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just the one that gets the lights back on. That’s how we’ve always handled things here at Plot 8. It’s a bit cramped with all the spare parts, but it works for what we need.
