Shree Zalawadi Kadva Patidar Mitra Mandal

This is the place for the Shree Zalawadi Kadva Patidar Mitra Mandal, located at Plot No. 749-2/b in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It might seem a bit odd to have a community space in the middle of an industrial area, but it works for us. The building is mostly a big open hall where people can gather. We have some plastic chairs stacked in the corner and a few ceiling fans that whistle a bit when they're on high. It’s mostly used for meetings or when the members need to get together to talk about things. Sometimes we have small events here, and it gets quite loud with everyone talking and laughing. The kitchen area is small, just enough to make some tea or snacks for the group. We keep the place clean ourselves, so it’s not always perfect. The walls have a few marks here and there from moving furniture. Outside, the road is busy with factory traffic, but once you step inside, it’s our own space. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time. People know to look for us past the main factory gates. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else. We don't have any staff really, just the members who take turns looking after things. It's a humble spot but it’s ours and it serves the mandal well enough for what we need to do.
