Shree Ganesh Tin Works

Shree Ganesh Tin Works is based out of Plot No. 753-4 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you walk by, you will likely hear the sound of metal being moved or cut before you even see the sign. It is a noisy place, and the air is usually thick with the smell of tin and grease. We have a few big machines that take up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for us to walk between them. The building itself is an older one, so it gets quite cold in the winter and really hot during the summer months. We don't have much in the way of an office, just a small table near the back where we keep the ledger and a few pens. Most of our work is done by hand or with the help of those heavy machines. We are usually covered in a bit of grime by the end of the shift, but that is part of the job. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, so we all stay pretty fit. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here at 753-4. Sometimes we share a meal together in the afternoon while the machines are cooling down. It is a simple, hardworking environment where we just focus on getting the tin pieces shaped right and sent out on time.
