You can find Shiv Industries at Plot No. 40-b in the GIDC Industrial Estate. We share this general area with a lot of other small businesses, so there’s always people moving around and trucks backing in and out. Our unit is pretty modest. We have our machines set up in a way that makes sense for the workflow, even if it looks a bit crowded to an outsider. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floor has seen its share of spills, but that’s normal for a place like this. We don't spend much time worrying about the appearance of the office. As long as the machines are running and the orders are moving, we are happy. We have a few guys who have been with us since we started at this plot. Every morning starts with a quick check of the machines and a cup of hot tea. We don't have fancy titles or a complicated hierarchy. If something needs to be moved, we all help move it. If a machine breaks down, we roll up our sleeves and fix it ourselves. It’s hard work, and the air can get pretty thick when we are busy, but we are used to it. We just want to get our work done and make sure everything is packed correctly before the end of the day. It’s a simple life for us here, just doing what we know how to do.
