Shiv Electricals

You can find Shiv Electricals at Gf-9 in the Vaikunth Complex. We are right in the middle of the GIDC Industrial Estate at 323-b. A good landmark for people who haven't been here before is the Lucky Restaurant which is directly across the street. We usually go there ourselves for a quick bite. The shop is small but it has everything we need to function. Being in an industrial area means there is constant noise and movement outside the door. We have shelves full of different parts and tools. Sometimes it takes us a minute or two to find the exact piece someone wants, but we usually know where everything is hidden in the back. The floor is made of concrete and has some old oil stains. It’s a working shop, not some fancy gallery. We open up quite early because the factory guys start their shifts around that time. It gets very dusty with all the truck traffic passing by outside. We don’t really have a big corporate story to tell. We're just a local business trying to stay busy and helpful. My cousin comes in to help me out on Saturdays when things get hectic. We still use an old paper ledger for most of our record keeping. Digital systems are fine, but paper feels more reliable when your hands are covered in grease. If you are looking for our place, just keep an eye out for the Vaikunth sign. It’s a bit faded but you can still see it.
