If you find yourself in the Makpura area, you’ll find us at Plot No. 612. We are situated inside the GIDC Industrial Estate there. Makpura is a big place, but our section is a bit more settled than the newer parts. See Linkages Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this plot for quite some time now. The building itself is pretty basic. It has seen better days, maybe, but it serves us well for what we need to do. There is a lot of movement on the street outside—trucks coming in to unload and others heading out with finished goods. We usually have the radio playing in the background to break up the sound of the machines. It’s a practical environment for everyone involved. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception desk. Most people just walk straight back to find whoever they need to talk to. The GIDC numbering system can be a bit confusing for newcomers, so we often tell people to look for the nearby landmarks first before they get lost. Our plot is just a regular square lot with enough room for our equipment and a bit of storage space. It gets quite busy on Monday mornings when everyone is trying to get their week started at the exact same time. We’ve got a small area where we keep our tools organized, though they don’t always stay that way by the end of a long shift. That’s just the reality of an industrial site in Makpura.
