Satyam Industries

Satyam Industries has been over at Plot No. 505-6 in the Gidc Ind. Estate for a good many years now. Dealing with two plots gives us a bit more breathing room than some of our neighbors. The air in the estate is always thick with the smell of industry and the sound of distant grinders. We start the generators early when there’s a lot to do. The floor is mostly concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the seasons. We have a small office tucked into one corner where the fan wobbles a bit, but it does the job. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour, just a spot where things get made and moved out. We have a small crew and everyone pretty much knows what their job is without being told anymore. Sometimes we share tea during the afternoon break and talk about the traffic on the main road. The Gidc Ind. Estate is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it, but we like our spot. We keep the tools organized as best as we can, though by Friday things usually look a bit cluttered. It’s just the reality of working with materials all day. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just run Satyam Industries from this address and try to keep everything moving along without too much trouble or delay. It’s a lot of standing and moving.
