Sarang Spring Manufacturing Company

Our place, Sarang Spring Manufacturing Company, is located at Plot 34 in the GIDC estate. It’s a basic setup, really. We make springs of all sorts. If you walk into the shop, you'll hear the sound of metal being shaped and the smell of oil. It’s what we do every day. The GIDC is a big place, but we’ve been at this specific spot long enough that most the delivery drivers know where we are. We don't have a big reception area or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you’ll find one of us near the back machines. Springs are one of those things people don't think about until they need one, and then they need it to be exactly right. We try to keep the bins full and the orders moving. It’s dusty work, and the summer heat in the shed can get pretty intense, but we’re used to it. We aren't a massive factory, just a local company doing manufacturing work for other businesses nearby. Sometimes things get backed up, but we work through the pile. We don’t do a lot of talking about quality, we just try not to mess up the measurements. It’s honest work. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. That’s how we’ve always run things here at Plot 34. Just a bunch of us making parts that go into other machines. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
