Santram Engimech Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 54-5 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We deal with engineering and mechanical parts, mostly for other industrial users. Our workshop isn't the biggest on the block, but we have everything we need to get the job done right. There’s a lot of grease and metal shavings around, which is pretty much expected in our line of work. We aren't interested in looking polished for photos. We’d rather focus on making sure the parts we produce are solid. The staff is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and a few younger ones learning the ropes. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The Gidc estate is a good place for us because everything we might need is nearby. If we run out of a certain screw or tool, we can usually find it just a few plots down. It’s a tight-knit community of workers. We don't do much in the way of sales pitches or fancy marketing. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years because they know where we are and what we do. We just keep our heads down and stay busy at Plot 54-5. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us so far without any major complaints.
