Primax Engineers

We are located at Plot No. 150-B, right by the Jayant Oil Mill in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the oil mill, so we don’t have to give long directions. Primax Engineers is really just a bunch of people who know how to work with metal and machines. The floor is usually a bit oily and there are metal shavings everywhere, but that’s engineering for you. We have some heavy lathes and drills that have been with us for years. They aren't the newest models, but they work just fine if you know how to handle them. We spend our days fixing parts or making new ones from scratch. It’s noisy and it can get pretty sweaty when the sun is hitting the metal roof, but nobody complains much. We usually eat our lunch together in a small corner we cleared out near the back door. There isn't much of a hierarchy here; if something needs doing, whoever is free just goes and does it. We don't go in for big meetings or fancy presentations. If a customer has a problem with a piece of equipment, they bring it in, and we take a look at it. Sometimes we can fix it right away, and sometimes it takes a few days to find the right part. We just do the work and move on.
