Pramukh Plastic Industries

Pramukh Plastic Industries is based at Plot No. 299-a in the GIDC Ind. Estate Industries Estate. This part of the estate is always full of activity, with people moving around and machines humming in every building. Our place is mostly filled with bags of plastic raw materials and the machines we use to shape them. It can get quite warm inside, especially when all the equipment has been running for a few hours, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. The noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have a large sliding door at Plot No. 299-a that we keep open for ventilation during the day. Sometimes birds fly in and sit on the rafters, which is a bit of a distraction. We have a small desk near the front where we keep our records and receipts, though it usually has a layer of dust on it by noon. Most of the folks working here have been around for a long time, so we know how to handle the glitches that happen with the older machines. We are not trying to be anything big or fancy. We just focus on getting the plastic products made and packed into the boxes for the next shipment. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is what we know how to do. We take our tea breaks together when things quiet down for a minute. We also have to keep an eye on the power.
