Our place, Power Drives (guj) Pvt. Ltd., is located at Plot No. 991-2-b in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We’ve been operating out of this unit for quite a while now. The work we do involves power systems and drives, which is mostly technical stuff that happens in the back. The front office is pretty basic with just a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets a bit crowded when we have a big delivery arriving, but we manage the space okay. Most of our workers live in the surrounding area, so there’s a local feel to the shop. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the door so people know they’re at the right place. The machines can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but we know how to fix them up. It’s a practical environment. We don't go in for big corporate meetings or long speeches. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and get to it. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes in the industrial estate. We’ve gotten used to the noise and the pace of life here. It’s where we belong, working with our hands and making sure the drives are ready to go out. We just take it one day at a time.
