Polymer Plast

Our place is at Plot No. C-1- 517 -4 in the GIDC area. Polymer Plast is a small operation. We have been here for a while, working with different plastic materials. The shed gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running at once. We don't have a fancy reception area or a cooling system. Most of the time, the floor is busy with bags of raw materials and finished parts waiting to be packed. We just do our work and try to keep things moving. There are about six of us here on a good day. We handle the molding and the trimming ourselves. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a clean shirt. The GIDC roads are always a bit rough, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a big corporate plan or anything like that. We just take the orders that come our way and try to get them out the door on time. If a machine breaks down, we spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It's just a regular local business. We know our neighbors and we help each other out with tools when needed. That’s just how it goes for us here at plot 517. We don't have much to say about ourselves, we just keep working.
