Pentagon Industries

Pentagon Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 307-6-3 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a solid building with a lot of history for those of us who work here every day. Inside, it’s mostly metal machines and concrete floors. We have some equipment that has been running since we first opened this location, and they still work better than the newer ones sometimes. We don't have a fancy logo or a big sign out front to attract attention. Most people just know where Plot 307-6-3 is because they’ve been coming here for years. The work we do is pretty repetitive, but it requires us to pay close attention so nobody gets hurt. We don't have a lot of meetings or any of that corporate stuff. If there is a problem with a machine, we just stand around it and talk until we figure out how to fix it. It’s a very hands-on environment and our clothes show it by the end of the shift. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is nice and the power stays on. We have a small corner with a bench where we keep a stove for making tea and warming up our lunch tins. That’s basically our break room and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to do our jobs well.
