Out at Plot No. 887-2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, things are pretty straightforward. Parekh Enterprise has its roots firmly planted in this industrial zone. It’s a landscape of metal roofs and heavy trucks. Our particular plot is tucked away, and we’ve spent a lot of years making this space functional for what we do. The air usually has that faint metallic smell common in these industrial parks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that; you just walk through the main door and you’re pretty much in the thick of it. The desk in the corner is where most of the planning happens, usually under a flickering tube light that we keep meaning to fix but never do. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We deal with suppliers and customers who are just as busy as we are, so conversations are usually short and to the point. The heat can get a bit much in the summer months, but we’ve got a couple of fans that keep the air moving enough to stay productive. It’s the kind of place where your boots get a bit dirty just walking from the car to the door. We like it that way because it shows we’re actually getting things done. Every day is about meeting the schedule and making sure everything is sorted before we lock up the gates for the night. We aren't here to impress anyone with how the building looks, just with how hard we work.
