Mita Machinery

You can find Mita Machinery over at Plot No. 990-2-d-5 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s one of the smaller plots in this section. We mostly handle machinery parts and some repair work. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the shelves and boxes. We have everything piled up, but we generally know where to find the specific bolt or gear someone is looking for. The air smells like metal and cutting oil most of the time. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who have been working together for years. We don't use much fancy technology. A lot of what we do is just using our hands and the old tools we've had forever. Customers come in with broken pieces and we see if we can fix them or find a replacement. Sometimes we can't, and we just tell them straight. We don't like to give people false hope. The estate is a noisy place, so we have to talk loud to hear each other over the sounds of the neighbors. We close up around six and head home. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and we like being our own bosses. If the gate is open, we’re inside working. That’s how it’s been for a long time now.
