About Minal Electro Platers – Building & Construction Material in Vadodara
Working at Plot No. 371-1 means dealing with a lot of liquid and tanks. The floor is almost always a bit damp because of the rinsing. We spend a lot of time hanging parts on racks before they go into the baths. It’s tedious work but it has to be done carefully or the finish looks wrong. The Gidc Ind. Estate Industries Estate area here is packed with units, so parking the delivery van is always a struggle in the morning. We wear heavy aprons and boots that look pretty worn out. Sometimes the steam gets thick in the back room. We have these big plastic barrels everywhere and you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a hose. The lighting isn't great, so we use handheld torches to check the pieces once they come out of the tanks. It’s a lot of waiting for things to dry. We have a small bench where we eat lunch, usually fast so we can get back to the racks. The chemicals have a sharp scent that stays in your clothes even after you go home. It’s just the two of us mostly, plus a guy who comes in to help with the heavy lifting. We keep a logbook on a clipboard that’s covered in fingerprints. Nothing fancy about the setup, just lots of metal and wire and tanks. It gets the job done and keeps us busy until late evening. We try to finish the main batch before the sun goes down.
