Max Poly

We are over at Max Poly, located at Plot No. 178 in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It is a straightforward setup. We do not have any flashy signs or a grand entrance. It is just a gate and a building where we get things done. The road outside is usually torn up or being fixed, so it is a bit of a bumpy ride to get here. We have been in this unit for a long time. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we just move the stuff out of the way and keep going. Inside, it is all about the polymer work. There are bags of material everywhere. We do not have a cleaning crew, so we just sweep up the floor ourselves at the end of the shift. It is not a corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and do not worry about ties or uniforms. The clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but nobody bothers to fix it. We know when it is time to start and when it is time to leave. Most of our days are spent checking the machines and making sure the output is okay. It is a lot of manual work and standing around on the hard floor. We do not have any big philosophy. We just come in, do what is on the schedule, and try to keep the machines running smooth for the day.
