M. K. Traders

M. K. Traders is based out of the Gidc Estate area. We occupy two spots, 900-3-b-1 and 856-2. Having two spaces in the same estate helps us manage things better. It’s a busy place with lots of trucks coming in and out. We spend a lot of our time checking inventory and talking to suppliers. The estate can be a bit confusing to navigate if you aren't used to the numbering system. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. It’s a trading business, so it’s mostly about moving boxes and keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. Some days are slow and we just sit around the small desk in the front. Other days are hectic and we are on our feet until late. We don't have any big signs or neon lights. It’s just a typical Gidc setup. The office part is pretty small and crowded with files and samples. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Most of our business happens over the phone or just standing near the loading dock. It works for us. We just try to keep the stock moving and the records straight. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to worry about that. It's just M. K. Traders, doing what traders do in an industrial park every day.
