Kusum Chemical Industries

We’ve been at Plot No. 800 in the GIDC Ind. Estate for a good while now. It is a busy spot, mostly trucks and old barrels moving around from morning until night. Kusum Chemical Industries is just us, a small crew keeping the mixing and the packing going every day. Some days are very dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the estate, but we always get the work done. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just the main shed and the storage area in the back. Most people find us by looking for the big blue gate near the end of the lane. It is nothing special to look at, but the equipment works and we know the daily routine. My father started things here, and not much has changed since then besides the phone lines finally getting a bit better. We handle various chemicals, mostly for the local factories that need stuff in bulk. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit late because of the heavy traffic at the main estate gate, but that is just how it is here. We eat our lunch together in the small room by the entrance. It is loud because of the machines running next door, but you get used to that after the first week. We just try to keep the orders moving and the floors as clean as you can expect for a place like this. If you are coming by to see us, just look for 800.
