You can find us at Chandan Complex in the GIDC area. We’re on Plot 490 and 491. It’s a double unit, which gives us some space to move around. We’ve been here since the complex was relatively new. Most days involve handling raw materials or checking the stock. It’s an industrial place, so it’s never really clean, but we try. There are a lot of other businesses around us, so it’s a busy neighborhood. Trucks coming in and out all the time. We do a lot of manual labor. Our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don’t have a big corporate structure. Just a few of us working together. If someone’s sick, we all cover for them. It’s how we’ve always done it. We have some old machinery that still runs better than the new stuff. We spend a lot of time on maintenance. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it's not too hot. The GIDC estate has everything you need if you work in industry. We don’t really leave the area much during the day. We just focus on the orders we have. It’s a living. We’ve had the same neighbors for a decade now. It’s a familiar routine. Morning tea, check the machines, get to work. The landlord at Chandan Complex is alright, mostly leaves us to it. We just keep doing what we know. It is a practical way to spend the day.
