Jaimini Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 336-27 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the plot numbers. We’ve got a small gate and a narrow entrance that leads into our workspace. It’s not a huge facility, but we make the most of the space we have. Most mornings start with a quick cleanup of the shop floor before we start the machines. The air always smells a bit like metal and oil, which I guess is common for an industrial estate. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the work area and find one of us. We try to keep things moving. There’s always a list of things to do stuck on the wall with some old tape. The lighting isn't the best in the corners, but we know where everything is. Our neighbors are mostly in the same boat, just working hard and trying to get through the day. Sometimes we borrow tools from each other if something breaks down. It’s a simple way of doing business. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be made and we make it. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually pretty tired and ready to lock up Plot No. 336-27 and head home to our families.
