Hemant Rubber

Hemant Rubber is located at Plot No. I-400 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever worked with rubber, you know that the smell is something you never quite get out of your nose. Our factory is dedicated to molding and processing rubber parts. It’s a hot and heavy process. We have these big presses that run for most of the day, and the floor is always a bit stained from the materials we use. It’s an old-school kind of place. We don’t use much automation; it’s mostly manual labor and experienced hands knowing when a part is cured just right. The GIDC is a massive place, and our plot is just one of many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. We have a small break area out back where the guys sit and chat during their downtime. We don't put on any airs about being a high-tech facility. We’re a rubber workshop, plain and simple. We deal with the heat, the smell, and the hard work because it’s what we know. The orders come in, we make the parts, and we send them off. There isn't much more to it than that. We don't have a sales team calling people up; we just wait for the phone to ring or for someone to stop by the gate. It’s a steady life here at I-400, and we take it one day at a time.
