H. K. Industries

H. K. Industries is our shop over at Plot No. 864-b-1-1 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a bit of a trek to find if you don't know the area, but we’ve been here long enough that most the delivery drivers know the way by heart. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of workbenches and the sound of tools running. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Usually, the boss is out on the floor with everyone else, checking on how things are moving along. We handle a lot of different types of work depending on what comes through the door that week. Some days it’s all heavy stuff, other days it’s more detailed tasks that take a lot of patience. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of clutter around the edges. We’ve got a small crew, mostly guys from around the neighborhood who have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the job right and go home at the end of the day. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up for breaks. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we don't feel the need to make it sound like more than it is. Just people working with their hands in a dusty industrial park.
