General Stamping Industries

We have been at Plot 196 for quite a while now. GIDC is always busy, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. It gets pretty loud here with the stamping machines, but that's just how the day goes for us. We aren't a big fancy office, just a shop floor and some desks in the corner. Most days it’s just us making sure the metal parts get out on time. The floor gets dusty and we usually have tea around eleven to take a break from the noise. It is hot in the summer, but we have some fans that help a bit. People know us as the place near the back corner of the estate. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, just a regular industrial building with some grease and scrap metal around. We've seen a lot of neighbors come and go in the estate over the years. Some days are slower than others and we just clean the tools. We just keep the machines running and try to stay organized. If you come by, you'll probably hear the banging before you see the sign. It’s hard to keep the place perfectly clean when you’re working with metal all day long. We just focus on the work in front of us. The gate is a bit sticky in the monsoon season. We try to keep things simple here. Just a bunch of us working at General Stamping Industries.
