General Food Chemical Corporation

General Food Chemical Corporation is situated right here at Plot No. 449 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you know the area, you know it's a lot of concrete and metal sheds. Our place is no different. It’s just a functional space where we handle things. The mornings are usually the busiest time because that's when the vans show up. We have a small office area but most of the action happens in the back where the supplies are kept. It gets pretty loud sometimes when the neighbors are running their machinery. You get used to it after a week or so. There is a small tea stall just down the road where most of the guys go during the break. It’s a good way to see what else is happening around the estate. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a door and some desks and the smell of the industrial area. Some days are slower than others. When the monsoon hits, the road outside Plot 449 gets some big puddles that stay for days. We just put some bricks down to walk over. It's a simple way of living and working. We’ve been part of this Gidc Ind. Estate for a while now and most people around here know where we are. We just focus on getting the day's work done and heading home before the traffic gets really bad.
