Gautam Wood Industries

This is Gautam Wood Industries. We are based at Plot No. 83/2 in the Gidc Estate. It is a very straightforward setup we have here. We handle a lot of wood every day, so the whole place usually smells like fresh sawdust. It is a smell you get used to after working here for a few days, and honestly, it’s not bad. The estate is quite large, but we have been in this specific plot for a long time. It is just the way we do things. Not much has really changed since we first started out. We have a few machines and a small space for keeping our materials. The gates are usually wide open during the day so the air can move. Sometimes people walk in looking for directions because the Gidc can be confusing with all the different plot numbers everywhere. We tell them where to go if we know the spot. Our team is small, mostly just local guys who live nearby. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just focus on the wood and the orders we have to finish. It is hard work, and your hands usually get pretty dirty, but it feels good at the end of the day. We try to keep things organized at 83/2, even when it gets busy. We just do our best.
