At Ferro Tic Dies Moulds, we spend our time working on specific shapes and parts. We are located at Plot No. 435 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It is a practical setup. We have the heavy machinery on one side and a space for finishing the moulds on the other. It takes a lot of patience to get a die exactly right. You can't rush it or you just end up wasting a good piece of steel. Most of us wear heavy boots and work clothes that have seen a lot of use. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we have lamps over the workbenches where the fine work happens. It’s a small operation. You won't find a big HR department or a receptionist here. Usually, the owner is out on the floor with everyone else, getting his hands dirty. We have a small corner with a table and a few chairs where we have our lunch and talk about the news or whatever is going on. The GIDC estate is a busy place, so there is always noise from the neighbors too. We have been at this plot for quite a while now. The building is old but it holds up. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get through the pile of orders on the clipboard. It's a steady life and we prefer it that way.
