We set up shop at Plot No. C1-879-1 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a place where we put together automation systems for other factories. There are a lot of wires, tiny sensors, and control panels spread out everywhere. It looks a bit confusing if you aren’t used to seeing the inside of a control box. We spend a lot of time programming and testing circuits on our laptops. Sometimes a piece of equipment won’t work right for hours and we all have to huddle around it to figure out why the logic is failing. It’s a lot of trial and error in this business. The building itself is quite plain, just like the others on this street, with high ceilings and concrete floors. We have some heavy workbenches and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't really have a sales team or anyone to answer the door. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to solder something or crimp a wire. It gets busy, and sometimes the floor is a mess of cable ties and wire clippings that we missed. We try to sweep up before we go home, but it’s never perfectly clean. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the heavy casting shops nearby that make a lot of noise. We mostly just focus on getting the logic right and making sure the panels are wired correctly for the client. It is interesting work, and it keeps our brains busy. We just do our thing here at the plot and try to keep up.
