Electro Lube Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Plot No. 455 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a solid, functional building that does exactly what it needs to do for us. Working with lubricants means that the floors always have a bit of a sheen to them and there is a persistent smell of oil in the air that never really goes away, no matter how much we vent the place. We have big drums and containers stacked up along the walls and a small section near the back where the administrative stuff happens. It’s a noisy place when the pumps are going but we’ve all grown accustomed to it over the years. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of those modern office perks like bean bags or espresso machines. We mostly drink tea from the guy who brings his cart around the industrial estate twice a day. The work is physical and sometimes a bit messy but that’s just the nature of the business. We know the other folks on this stretch of the estate and we occasionally lend each other tools or help out when someone’s truck gets stuck in the mud during the monsoon season. It’s a tight-knit community in its own way. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and make sure the orders are ready to go out when they are supposed to. It’s a simple life.
