Deepam Industries

Deepam Industries is located at Plot No. 904-3 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We’re right next door to some other busy shops, so the whole lane is usually full of activity from sunrise to sunset. Our part of the building is at 904-3, and it’s basically just a large open space where we do our manufacturing. We’ve been here for quite a while now, and we’ve seen the estate change as new businesses move in and old ones close down. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. There isn't a dedicated reception area or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually just have to find one of us on the floor. We handle a lot of the day-to-day tasks ourselves, from unloading the raw materials to checking the final products before they go out. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we all appreciate. The air is often thick with the sounds of the industrial estate, but it’s just the sound of people working. We don’t use any corporate lingo or try to act like we’re bigger than we are. We’re just a small industry trying to do a good job so we can come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment, which suits us just fine. No frills, just the job at hand.
