Compressor House is located at Plot No. 113/7 in the Gidc Estate. If you know anything about industrial estates, you know they all look pretty much the same—rows of buildings and lots of activity. We’ve been in this particular spot for a long time. The name says it all, really. We handle compressors. It’s a lot of heavy metal and oil. The floor in the workshop is stained from years of work, no matter how much we scrub it. We don't have a marketing team or someone to write fancy stuff for us. We’re just a group of people who understand how these machines work. Most of our day is spent taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s loud, and you usually have to shout to be heard over the testing equipment. We get parts delivered at odd hours, and sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job for a customer who’s in a bind. We keep a pot of coffee going, though it’s usually pretty bitter by the afternoon. The office is just a corner with a couple of chairs and a filing cabinet that’s overflowing. We don't care much for appearances. As long as the work is good and the compressors are running right, we're happy. It's a straightforward business. We show up, we fix things, and we go home. That's the way it's been since we opened the doors at 113/7 and started the business.
