Ceramics India

Ceramics India is situated at Plot No. 343 in the GIDC area. We work with a lot of different ceramic materials and it can get pretty dusty in here. You’ll usually see us moving crates around or checking the kilns. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a bunch of us who have been doing this for years. The floor is made of concrete and is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust. We’ve got some old machinery that still runs great, and we take care of it ourselves. People stop by the plot often to check on their orders or just to see how things are going. We don't have a fancy waiting room, so they usually just stand around and chat with us while we work. It’s a bit hot near the furnaces, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on getting the shapes and the finish right. Some days are better than others, especially when a big batch comes out looking perfect. We’re not trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one that does its job at the estate. It’s simple, practical work that keeps us busy from morning to night. We just try to keep the wheels turning.
