Cabend Sales Company

Cabend Sales Company is based at Plot No. 241 within the Gidc Ind. Estate. Our unit is basically a warehouse filled with various products we sell, so there isn't much room for anything else. We have rows of shelving that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find the ladder when we need something from the top. The floors are concrete and have some stains from over the years, but they are solid. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the computer checking inventory levels. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The Gidc estate is a huge place, and sometimes people get lost trying to find Plot No. 241 because the signs aren't very clear. We usually tell them to look for the big blue door that doesn't quite close all the way. There’s a small canteen nearby that serves decent thalis, so that’s where most of us end up for lunch. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that; we just try to keep the customers happy by having what they need in stock. The air in the warehouse can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the big loading door open to let some air in. It’s a modest setup, but it works for what we do every day.
