Our factory is tucked away at Plot No. 754-7 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. We manufacture auto parts. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right every time. The presses and lathes make a fair amount of noise, so you can usually hear us before you see the sign. We are not a big, polished corporation with a lobby. We have a small office area that is usually stacked with invoices and boxes, but the real action is on the production floor. We have had some of the same workers here for years, and we all know the routine. We make parts for various vehicles, nothing too fancy, just the solid components that keep things moving on the road. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it, but that is just part of life in manufacturing. The estate is a bit dusty and the roads are not great, but it is where we belong. We do not spend money on advertising or big signs. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they have been buying from us for a decade. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the orders going out on time. It is hard work, and the grease gets everywhere, but it is what we do. We keep things simple.
