Bharat Clothhouse

Our shop is called Bharat Clothhouse, and we are located over at Plot No. 990, 2a-4 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a very busy part of the estate with a lot of heavy trucks moving around throughout the day. Inside our place, it’s a little bit quieter, though you can always hear the rumble of the traffic outside the walls. We have been selling various kinds of cloth from this same location for quite a long time now. We keep a large variety of materials on hand for whatever the customers might need. It's definitely not a fancy boutique where you get served tea and sit on a soft sofa while you shop. It's a place where we do business across an old wooden counter that has seen better days. We still use the same old measuring sticks that have been worn smooth by our hands over the years. The floor is just plain concrete and the roof is made of corrugated tin, so it gets very noisy whenever it rains hard. We don't have a big staff at all, just a couple of us who really know the inventory inside out. We don't do any of that modern fancy marketing you see everywhere nowadays. People in the area know we are here, and that's usually enough for us. We just try to be fair and do our work every day without making any big fuss or unnecessary noise.
