Bearing House

Bearing House is located at Plot No. 898-1-6 in GIDC. As the name says, we deal with bearings of all sorts. Our shelves are pretty much packed from the floor to the ceiling with different sizes and types. It can be a bit of a maze in the back storage area, but we know where everything is. We have been operating out of this GIDC unit for a long time. It is a practical location for us because so many machines in this area need parts replaced. People come in with old, greasy bearings and we try to find them a match. We do not use much technology for the inventory, mostly just knowing the stock by heart. It is a bit old-fashioned, I guess. The shop is not much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial unit with a lot of heavy stuff inside. We do not bother with fancy displays or marketing materials. Our focus is just keeping the right items on hand so when a factory down the road has a breakdown, we can help them out. The work is steady and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes it gets loud with the trucks loading and unloading right outside our door. That is just life in the estate. We are here most days from early morning until the sun goes down. It is what we do.
