This Bank Of Baroda branch is located in the Horizon Complex. It’s a pretty standard setup. We have the counters for cash and the desks where we handle all the account stuff. Every morning starts the same way, opening the heavy doors and getting the systems running. People usually start waiting outside before we even open. Horizon Complex is a busy spot, so there’s always people moving around the building. Our space inside is okay, but it can feel a bit small when there are twenty people waiting for their turn. We spend a lot of time telling people to stand in line or wait for their number to be called. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit stiff. We have some plants in the corner that don’t get much light, but we try to keep them alive. It’s a lot of stamping papers and checking IDs. Sometimes the printer jams right when we have a long line of people, which is frustrating for everyone. You get to know the people who live nearby and come in once a month. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work. We deal with a lot of coins and small notes that take forever to count. At the end of the shift, we just want to close up and go home like anyone else. It’s just a bank in a busy complex.
