Awishkar Chemical Industries

Awishkar Chemical Industries is over at Plot No. 250-1-b in the Gidc Ind. Estate Esate. That is how it is written on our gate and the paperwork we handle every day. It’s a busy corner of the estate. We deal with a lot of chemicals here, so we have to be careful with how things are stored and moved around. The smell of the industry is always in the air, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. Our building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and does the job. We spend most of our time mixing and measuring things. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and watching the gauges. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their role. We don't have meetings about things like vision or future goals. We just look at the order sheet and get to work. The tea breaks are the highlight of the afternoon when things slow down for twenty minutes. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lane outside our plot, and we have to help them navigate out. It’s just part of being in an old Gidc area. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy facade or a big lobby. We just want to get through the day's production and make sure everything is sealed up tight before we lock the gates for the night. There is always cleaning to do.
