Arka Automation

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 900-1-c in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time thinking and tinkering. We work on automation, which sounds more complicated than it really is when you’re doing it every day. It’s mostly about getting sensors and motors to talk to each other so a machine can do its job without someone having to watch it every second. We have wires and small tools all over the place. Sometimes the shop is quiet while we’re programming, and other times it’s loud with the sound of testing. We’ve been at this plot for a few years now. We chose the GIDC because it’s where all the other factories are. It makes sense to be close to the people who actually use the stuff we build. We aren't fancy people. We wear work shirts and usually have grease on our hands. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most important piece of equipment we own. We don't follow a strict corporate script. If something works, it works. If it doesn't, we stay until we fix it. It's just a small team of us here at Plot 900-1-c. We enjoy the challenge of making things run smoother. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know how to do.
