Apcl International operates from Plot No. 910, 4-a in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a busy corner of the estate, and there’s always someone moving crates or loading a van nearby. Our unit is part of a larger block, so we share a wall with the neighbors and can usually hear their machines humming through the bricks. We keep a simple setup here with a few workbenches and the main processing equipment. The floor is stained from years of use, but it’s solid. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure everything is running at the right speed. It’s not the sort of place you’d come for a tour, but it works for us. The Gidc has its ups and downs with the local traffic and the occasional power cut, but we’ve learned to work around those things over the years. We keep our supplies stacked in the back corner to keep the walkways clear, though it never stays organized for very long. Our team is small and everyone does a bit of everything. There isn't really a boss who sits in a closed office; we are all out on the floor together. We just try to get the orders ready on time so the drivers don't have to wait around when they show up. We’ve been here quite a while now and most of us could do the job with our eyes closed.
